Things you may be able to tell by looking at these photos:
1. I'm outside again. Which means it's not I-wanna-die-cold right now. Which I am loving, and am hoping stays forever. It could happen, right? Everyone keeps talking about global warming... has it kicked in yet? Oh, wait.. no.. that's not right, is it....
2. I need to pay a visit to my hair stylist to get my roots touched up. So I guess that cat's out of the bag, for those of you who are newer to my blog. I'm a chemical blonde!
3. For those of you who are viewing my actual blog and not seeing this post through Bloglovin or by mobile, you'll see that I re-did my blog design. I'm pretty proud of the three hours I spent in the middle of the night, making minor adjustments and forcing my husband to Google different coding while I edited. It was fun for everyone.
4. I was exceptionally impressed with my husband's photos of me this time around and couldn't help but posting more of them than most of you would care to see. You mad?
5. I am in dire need of a good tan. Only, too bad I've promised myself no more tanning beds. And even more too bad that I made this declaration on Facebook for all 700+ of my friends to keep me accountable. I guess it's time for tanning lotions. Fingers crossed that I turn out tan and not orange. You'd tell me if I was orange, right?
Love your new blog design!
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is so cute, and I love your outdoor photos! Your husband really did a great job on the photos, and I'm so not mad that you posted more!

I love those shoes. I can see the new blog design even in Bloglovin's frame. Do you have any pictures of you as a brunette? Other than the roots, you look like you'd be a natural blonde.
ReplyDeleteYour new look is fab! And you look amazing! Hubby did great!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the new blog design, Lynette!
ReplyDeleteYou so darn purrty :)

I LOVE that bag! And the new design looks so good!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your husband was so excited for all the coding talk, haha.
I like the Black Cowl-neck. This is a real simple look made more awesome by the earrings & shoes. Great Purse, too. And I love the new design to the blog. Did you do it yourself?
ReplyDeleteBTW did you see this week's Sunday's Best Looks?
Hey in my eyes your still considered a blondie...your roots may be a darker shade of blonde but they're still blonde...right:)?! I'm loving the outdoor pics! You look beautiful girl!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great outfit for you! And yes, the new blog design looks great!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Loving the Michigan weather right now... not that it will last :)
ReplyDeletep.s- if you have trouble becoming orangey from self tanner (I am pale by nature and have this issue) i've found adding a bronzer to the lotion works wonders. I add Nars Illuminating Bronzer, its perfect! :)
You look gorgeous! Not sure what the site design was like before, but it looks great now! I remember when my husband and I stayed up until 3am reworking my format too...good times :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the tanning, I have the same issue - just tried Tan Towels for the first time and I am obsessed with them. They are so easy to use and it immediately shows the color so you won't get "streaky"!

What a sweet husband you have- the blog design looks great! Are you self-taught on this stuff? And THANKS for the tip on the Famous Footwear clearance...went yesterday and scored a $15 pair of Sperry shoes- woo hoo! Good luck with the tanning lotions...but even if you look like you rolled in Dorrito dust, I think you should post a picture. :-)

Love the new design! And nooooo don't use tanning beds- skin cancer is a terrible thing (sorry to sound like a Mom!) I use tanning lotions and they work wonderfully :)
ReplyDeleteHaving someone airbrush tan me always gets the best results, but when I want something at home that I know works well, I always turn to Victoria's Secret's Beach Sexy lotion. I see where it goes on, it doesn't smell weird, and it isn't orange! I've tried an awful lot of tanning products but this is the best for the price by far.
ReplyDeletei was so excited about the warm-up that i wore a dress sans tights this past weekend (up today on the bloggy). and now it's kinda cold again. march is such a tease, right?
ReplyDeleteanywho - you look great!

p.s. love the layout - i need to redo mine so bad. teach me?
DeleteLove the new look- soft and clean, and very easy to navigate. :)
ReplyDeleteHave you tried getting a spray tan? The booths have improved over the years- I get one at least 1x per week with really good color pay-off (and no oompah-orange!).

I love your new layout! I get sick of my layout all the time, but never want to put in the effort, so bravo to you!
ReplyDeleteAlso, these pictures are beautiful! Why would we be mad seeing more of your pretty face? Just sayin'...
And I have been back and forth on tanning beds because otherwise it takes so much effort for me to even keep a slight tan... please do reviews on lotions if you try out any good ones!
1. I LOVE your blog re-design. Well worth those sleepless hours and code-googling.
ReplyDelete2. I love that bag.
3. My legs are SHOCKINGLY white. It's scary really. I need some self-tanner, stat.
