When I first got this tweed blazer, this is the outfit that came to mind first. But whenever I got ready for work and wanted to wear this blazer, it's like a tried to come up with something more creative than "the obvious look". And therefore, did not wear this look until 2 months after owning this blazer.
Which was stupid, because I think it's cute. Boring, albeit, but cute.
And there's something about this blazer that makes me want to wear my glasses. Hm.
I'm leaving for Atlanta on Monday. Can I get three shouts of glory for the absence of this in my life?:

Snow, not work. Work is fine. Snow is not. Snow can rot. But thankfully, the weather for Atlanta reportedly will be in the 50's at least. I'm going to Atlanta for a conference with my husband's work so I will be inside most of the day anyway, but it's lovely knowing that should I look out the window, I won't see a foot of snow laughing at me.
I'll still be posting throughout the week though, so I'll still be around. You were all going to miss me, weren't you? ;)
that blazer is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteAnother great look Lynette. You always look fantastic with a blazer on and always like yourself. I like the sexy specs on you, too. In these photos, you look very much like a distant cousin of mine. She is a Gorgeous Blonde, like you. =)
ReplyDeleteTHANKS LYNETTE about the latest comment. The Baby is here. I just still have some back-logged outfits to log in. Here is me announcing the Baby's Birth.

Thank you! & Congrats on the little one! I must've missed the post!
DeleteI love the glasses on you...and since I have recently become a stalker of your blog I also love the make up review youd did...Its so hard to find a drug store foundation that matches perfecto with the undertones thanks!
ReplyDeleteStalkers are welcomed here! ;) & thanks! I am super finicky about my foundations and won't usually buy one until I read the reviews, so I tried to be as specific as possible!
DeleteThis is a great blazer! And I love it paired with the red necklace here.

I love the blazer! And sometimes the "obvious look" is the best look :) You're rocking it and I love those glasses! Have fun in Atlanta!
ReplyDeletei love blazers, but i always have a hard time finding one with a good shape. They are either baggy or too short. Where do you usually find them?
ReplyDeleteI usually get my best ones at HM! They're usually $35-50 but well worth it because they fit so well and last long!
DeleteI love this look! To tell you the truth, I would say I wear "the obvious choice" like half of the week - there are usually a few days I get creative juices going, but when it comes to work most days I'm stumbling around my closet at 6:30 in the morning grabbing things that match. I happen to love your "obvious" look though - you look fab! :)

You look great. Your glasses are super cute, they complete the look! Love the blank pants and those heels - I think they complement the blazer perfectly.

I love H&M blazers! The style, fit, quality...everything about them:)! Your tweed one is so cute! It looks great with the black capri slacks and sharp toe pumps! It would probably look really cute with an a-line or pencil skirt too:)!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing in this outfit, it's so well put together i love it so much better than a boring work suit! abbievictoriia.blogspot.co.uk/
ReplyDeleteLove this look - very professional and chic!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! It's so classy, but has character. I've been looking for a similar tweed blazer forever...I'll need to check out H&M :)
