My sincerest apologies (again) for my nearly-a-month absence and over-a-month since I've regularly blogged! I blame the warm weather, moving, and a new job (just like I did last month). Every day, I would promise myself that I would photograph my outfit when I got home from work that night. But then I'd get home from work that night, totally frazzled, and be in my pj's and on the couch before I realized I'd taken my nice clothes off. And you all know, once nice clothes come off and pj's come on, there's no reversing that. Period.
And so I forced myself to make promises to a few readers (primarily my real-life friend Kirsten, who writes an incredible food blog that you should check out!) that I would absolutely update by Monday, no questions asked. And I hope you all are enjoying this post, because I fought for it. I got about three hours of sleep last night, and when I got home today, my husband said I (because I don't remember doing this) fell down on the sofa and promptly zonked out, and then woke up an hour later and put myself in bed. None of which I remember. All I remember is waking up in a pool of my own drool and my husband laughing at me. He's a real treat.
But the good news is, I pulled myself together and was motivated enough to go a great distance for my photos (and by great distance I mean my new apartment's balcony), and here you have it! Lynette, in clothes, ignoring the other people on their balcony that were staring at me.
I'm happy to be back. :)
