Winter Brights

Top: Banana Republic, $18
Skirt: Old Navy, $20
Belt: Papaya, $2
Heels: Old Navy, $17
Scarf: Rue 21, $10
Bracelet: Charlotte Russe, $6
Earrings: Rue 21, $6

I feel like I've been wearing a lot of neutrals lately, so it was definitely time for some color. Including my green nails. And apparently a revealing of my incredibly white legs. While it's 20 degrees out.

For those of you on Blogger, do you ever check your pageviews and see what people have Googled in order to end up on your blog? I check it every day, just out of curiosity, and have found some hilarious entries. My favorite one is "bare legs uniform". I do apologize to whomever Googled that and ended up on my blog. I sincerely believe I was not what you were looking for... but if you also enjoy style blogs, in addition to girls in uniform showing a little leg, then welcome! I salute you. (Uniform.. get it? I'm funny, right?)

Oh and apparently my post with the Revlon foundation review was all the rage in a Indonesian makeup forum. Took me a while to translate all their Sanskrit into English, but I think they liked me. I think.

    1. I hate to say I've gotten even weirder ones, but I have! Ha..
I've mostly decided I don't want to tan in a tanning bed anymore because it's just so awful for you, and I'm paying for that now. Guess it's better to pay for it with white legs than with melanoma, right?
And thanks! Love getting comments from you, because I LOVE your blog! :)

  2. So random, but I visited the mall near my boyfriend's house and went into Papaya for the first time and found so many cute things! I wish they had one near me.

    1. Eh, Papaya is okay.. you definitely can find a gem every once in a while, but the quality of most of their stuff is literally worse than Forever 21. Like, your jewelry WILL fall apart after two wears and your shirt WILL lose all of its structure after one wash, ha. But if you look hard enough, there are a few gems!

    1. GINNY STRIPED SKIRTS ARE SO GREAT AND YOU NEED TO THRIFT ONE FOR LIKE SIXTY CENTS LIKE YOU THRIFT EVERYTHING ELSE!
Or you know. Whatever. It was totally worth the $20 I spent. I basically wear it as a neutral with almost anything, as long as the top I'm wearing isn't too pattern-y.:)

  9. I just checked my google search terms this morning - my favorite as of today was "ballet flats no socks." Do I do that that often? And do a lot of people wear ballet flats WITH socks? I dunno. :)

Love that skirt - I'm SO CLOSE to buying one just like it at the Gap, just waiting for the most opportune sale moment.

    1. I've seen striped skirts in a few different colors in the clearance section of Old Navy lately! Like cute coral/taupe striped ones, super cute for spring!

I just feel bad for whoever came to my blog expecting bare legs and a uniform. I mean, you'll definitely get bare legs... but not paired with a uniform. Or maybe I could start a trend..?

      Negative. Husband says no. lol.

  16. You look beautiful in these pictures. That blouse fits like you a dream!

search terms are the best. some are super specific but then there super generic ones (one time I got: pants shoes shirt that someone led someone to by blog). some favorites of mine include "shoes with tight socks", "girl tight pants" and "open button up with breasts showing"

welcome to my blog ladies and gentlemen! tight pants and boobs: everything a personal style blog should be

    1. On your blogger dashboard (where it tells you you've got x pageviews and x followers), click on your pageviews. Then over to the right, after it lists your pageviews today, yesterday, etc, click on "more >>", and it'll show you the sources of your pageviews. There are little tabs in the upper right hand corner that say "Now" or "Day" or "Week", etc. Clicking on each of those and scrolling down to the bottom of the screen will show a list of "Search Keywords". That should show you!
