I swear I do not normally intend to post outfits literally every day as I have in the last few days. I definitely want this blog to be about more than just what I wear but I'm still sort of feeling stuff out. Yanno? In any case. Here is a few photos of me wearing clothes. Exciting, isn't it?

It was an astounding 60 degrees here in Michigan a few days ago. Which for us mid-westerners, means we think it's summer and we roll up the hems of our jeans. YOLO, right?!

I felt like I was walking around naked without my trusty blazer (the uniform, remember?). But I faced my fear with a sweater with little planes all over it. Almost cozy enough to forget about my blazer! :)

And just because I want to be honest, I have to post this picture to let you know that I do not walk to my photo locations wearing the painful-looking shoes you see me photographed in:

Monday Questionnaire: December 3, 2012

So I realize it's almost not Monday anymore, but I thought it'd be fun to do this questionnaire! One of my favorite bloggers Amarixe does them every Monday, so here goes nothing. :)

Also, on an unrelated note, I just recently joined the ranks of iPhone owners, and there's something about a cheap iPhone case that I can't say no to. I'm on case number 3 in a matter of a month. Should I be concerned..?

1.) Mood:
Tired! Spent all day shopping and definitely didn't get enough water all day, which has resulted in a sluggish Lynette. DRINK YOUR 64 OZ's, LADIES.

2.) You call into the radio station to request a holiday song-- which one is it?
"Baby It's Cold Outside." Such a fun song to sing!

3.) What is your ideal handbag size?
Medium to large. I have a lot of crap to haul around, guys.

4.) Current nail polish:
Something I found at H&M, but it really resembles Essie's Bahama Mama!

5.) What is the last fragrance you wore?
Victorias Secret's Very Sexy. 

6.) Current outfit:
A hoodie and yoga pants. The outfit of dehydration.

7.) Which snow activity do you prefer: building snowmen, making snow angels, or snowball fights?
I prefer for the snow to stay in the clouds and not reach the earth. But if I had to choose, building snowmen. Why isn't sledding an option!?

8.) What is your favorite restaurant cuisine?
Thai! Absolute favorite. Italian comes in as a close second.

9.) Can you whistle with your fingers?
I can't even whistle without my fingers, or with any other body part.

10.) Weekly goals:

Since my husband is 14 inches taller than me, I'm generally wearing heels 90% of the time in attempts to not look like a midget, or his daughter. The other 10% of the time, I'm wearing these boots. I've been looking for cute riding boots for forever, but just couldn't bring myself to spend the $70+ that they usually cost. These boots from Old Navy were a dream come true for only $30! And they're incredibly comfortable.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Monda means that my husband and I both have the day off, so I can't indulge in your hatred for Mondays if you're one of those people that gets tossed back into the work week on Mondays. I'll stay home and lay on the couch and let you know how it goes.

It will probably go incredibly well. I'm just saying. :)

November Favorites & Unfavorites!

Every month I'd like to share the beauty, food, fashion & lifestyle products that were my favorites.. and also the ones that were definitely not favorites, therefore "unfavorites"! It's a term I've picked up from one of my favorite YouTube-ers, LeighannSays. Anyway, let's jump right in!

The Uniform

This here is what I lovingly refer to as "the uniform". What that is, is essentially what makes up 90% of my day to day outfits. Blazer, printed or loose-fitting top, skirt or skinny jeans, heels. Work, church, wherever... what I'm wearing is generally some variation of this. Why? Because it works!

But I really am trying to branch out from my "uniform". Because though I find it super cute most of the time, it's safe. And it's easy. And it really stops me from taking advantage of all of the things in my closet. So hopefully throwing myself at the mercy of the fashion/lifestyle blogging world will help me mix up this little uniform. And I'm relying on all of you to keep me accountable. Because what says accountable like posting what you wear every day on the Internet?

Nothing, my friends. Nothing.
